Forever Home

What home means to me... Home is somewhere I feel loved, accepted, safe and most importantly I feel happy. My family makes me feel like I'm the best version of myself. Like when I get home from school, I know I will get a tight hug from my mom and dad. My sister is usually sleeping on the couch and my brother is upstairs playing video games. But it's always nice to know that when I get home my siblings are home too because were all together. I feel calm when I'm at home because I know that I can talk to my family about anything right then and there. Home is somewhere where families can build new traditions. Like every Friday my family and I have a movie night. It's very special to me because it's basically a family tradition. We order a pizza and buy lots of junk food just for that night. I’m so incredibly grateful to have a home because I know that so many people must live on the streets and have no real place to call home. This contest will help those people get the home they’ve always wanted. This is why I will forever love my family, my pets and especially my home.
