What Home is to Me
If home was a sight, it would be the most beautiful sunset behind the warm, blue ocean waves.
If home was a touch, it would be the touch of me and my family relaxing on a big cozy couch, with huge warm blankets, and lots of pillows while watching a horror movie
If home was a sound, it would be the sound of a radio playing a playful, upbeat song with laughter of me and my family playing in the backyard with a barbeque telling funny stories.
If home was a smell, it would be the smell of a clean, and fresh home, with my mom cooking a traditional Ukrainian dessert. If home was a taste, it would be the taste of my favorite freshly cut, cold and crunchy fruits with a glass of iced tea beside me.
And that’s just a little of what home means to me because homes are different in all ways to different people.
