House or Home?

A house, a place where sleek, exquisite furniture is settled, with a comfortable bed and a transparent glass window, a bright kitchen and dining room, an appealing decorated bedroom and living room, blank walls that cover each area, and a polished wooden door that has a gray metal handle. A home, a place where you can spend precious time with family and friends, with a cozy fireplace and a joyful, thrilled holiday. A place that has safety and protection. With love filled in each ones’ hearts and endless, unforgettable memories in each corner. A house is made out of objects, it doesn’t need love and emotion, understanding, forgiveness, pride and appreciation. A home is a feeling, a type of safety, a delicate and secure shell that protects you. A feeling where family surrounds you. A place deep in your heart that lights up when someone spreads their arms around you. A house has accidents, floods, fires, and earthquakes. Home is always there, it isn’t always a place, it is a type of happiness, a type of joy, a type of understanding, a type of love. A house provides you equipment, letting you dry off when it has been a dim, cloudy, wet day. A home is a rare, golden treasure, but even if it is rare, it is a treasure that everyone deserves.
