What is a Home?

Home By: Ella Smyth 6-3 Newtown Elementary Home is a place where I can watch movies. Home is a place where I sleep and rest. Home is a place where I can eat at the table with my family. A home is a place to stay when it rains or snows. Home is a place where I'm loved and cared for. Home is a place where I can cuddle up into my bed. Home is a place where I can read and watch TV. A home is a safe place, a place to stay when you're scared or when you feel unsafe. Home is a place where I can relax. Home is a place where I can play games with my family and friends. Home is a place to stay when there is a storm. A home is something everyone should have and something that everyone can afford. I am so grateful to have a house to live in. I wish everyone could have a house to live in and have all these things. I am also so grateful for Home For Humanity! They have helped so many people who can’t afford a home. That’s why I’m super grateful and excited to help Habitat For Humanity just by writing this short little poem!
