Home Is a Wonderful Place
Home Is a Wonderful Place
By: Jaden King
My home has many things to see. When I go, I see my wonderful, valued parents. I see my father cooking dinner on Sunday evenings. I see the cold snow as it touches the ground outside. I see my father playing games in the evenings on his phone. I see lots of wonderful things at home, I feel comfortable when I am home.
My home has many things to taste. I taste the ice-cold ice-cream on Sunday evenings. I taste the scrumptious food for dinner on weeknights. I taste the delicious breakfast in the cold mornings. My home makes me feel warm.
At home I smell lots of different things. I smell the freshly cooked dinner. I smell the hot chocolate in the mornings. I smell the dry chilly air in the mornings. At home I feel happy.
At home I touch many different things. I touch the warm teacup in the mornings. I touch the smooth book covers. I touch the hard cover of my tablet. I touch the warm breeze from the loud air vents. At home I feel safe.
At home there are many things for me to hear. At home I hear the loud footsteps from my neighbor. I hear the tv being watched by my dad. I hear the extractor fan above the stove in the morning when breakfast is being made. I hear loud music on Saturdays. At home I feel brave.
Home is a place where I feel loved appreciated and happy, and I hope that people without houses think of home as a place where they feel loved.
