My Homes

My Homes l live in two houses. One of them I grew up in from the moment I was born. My other house, a few years ago when my parents divorced But I love both houses the same Each house with a loving parent Each who gives me the world And I could not ask for anything more My wish for other people is to have the kind of life I am lucky to have Because people are all the same We each deserve a house, a home or even two homes like me Somewhere we can grow up, make good memories of our childhood So we can grow up in a good environment Safe, happy, and loved Even grownups need to feel safe, happy, and loved To make their house a home Habitat for Humanity helps those in need, helps people who need a house to make it a home They need a place to come home to and eat, sleep, relax, and be with their loved ones A house can be the start of something great A home can bring hope for a better life.
