Meaning of Home
To me home is not where I live, my home is my grandparent’s cabin. I spend most of my Summers with my grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, parents and siblings at the cabin.
I know that that is a lot of people and with eight of them being kids and them feeding on each other's energy it sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it’s where I feel happiest. Waking up in the morning and having everyone so close that the fun can start as soon as we open our eyes is one of the best parts. During the day we play, swim in the lake and eat grandma's delicious homemade cookies. By the time the day is over we are all very worn out and tired, but we always find time for a game of mafia in the living room after a big appetizing meal.
I have so many amazing memories at the cabin with my family. It is where I can escape from the constant rush of the city and stress of homework. The cabin may not be where I live, but it is the place that I feel safest, happiest and most loved. Overall to me home is my family and my memories.
