Home Sweet Home
Home is a word with infinite description. It’s a word with lovely description. Home is a place to store memories. Beautiful memories you wouldn’t want to forget. Home is a place to cuddle up with your family and tell stories. It’s a place to think about all the blessings you have. When I think about home I think about people who don’t have a home. When I think about home I think about my parents, my siblings, my pet and that makes me feel happy!
A house is not a home. A house is a four-wall structure while a home is a warm loving space. A house is to protect you from bad weather, but a home is to laugh and play. Home is a place to smile at everything. Home is the place I jump into bed after a spectacular movie night you wake up to the smell of fresh pancakes. Home, it’s a word full of family. Home is where the heart lives.
My house is made up of some chairs, a table and a source of water, but my home is made up of my favorite foods, my paintings, pretty lights and plants. The satisfying smell of the flowers I pick! A home is filled with excitement full of joy and endless happiness! Home is the smell of freshly baked goods. It is the sight of all smiling faces. It is the taste of hot chocolate with marshmallows on top after a cold wintery day. Home is the place where we vote for a movie! Home … it’s the place to feel comfortable. Home… it’s the space to feel love. Home is full of safety. You can bring a piece of home everywhere you go like a pillow or a blanket. Home is the place to be. I hope everyone who is experiencing homelessness gets a place to cherish and call home.
