What Home Means to Me
What home means to me is me feeling myself when I am at home. Me talking and laughing to my family about what happened to me throughout my day. Or when it is lunch time and I smell the flavorful chicken curry handed over to me with rice and other flavorful currys on the side and I eat it until I’m full and happy.
What home means to me is where I am feeling loved and cared for. When I need something my family rushes to help or when I fall they help me up and put medicine on me so it won’t hurt me even more. Or even when I fall asleep at the back of the car and my parents carry me all the way in.
What home means to me is me having full protection. If there is a huge windstorm my home will always be protecting me at all costs. Or when there is a thunderstorm and lightning outside making loud noises my home will always make me feel safe and warm even when I’m cold or scared.
What home means to me is me having memories made in my home. When it is my birthday or a special event I will see lots of family and friends and we will all eat, laugh, play, and enjoy spending our time with each other. Or when I am just going outside to a restaurant with my family and I have a great time.
What home means to me is me playing in a cozy warm place. When I am at home, bored, I play with my brothers. I will lose on purpose so I could see my brothers laugh and laugh.
