WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

What does home mean to you? To me it’s not just a roof over my head, it is a place of comfort, love and family. At my home I see the cars outside driving by. Beautiful painting upon the wall. The books on the long and tall bookshelf. At my home I hear my younger brother shooting hockey pucks in the garage. The laughter of friends and family at the kitchen table. The clicking of my dad working on his computer. At my home I smell my mom cooking delicious homemade meals, the colourful flowers in the garden and the scent of fresh burning candles. At my home I taste a homemade pizza straight from the oven, the sweet taste of iced tea on a hot day and a nice cold mango popsicle. At my home I feel the water of a hot shower on a cold day, the love when my parents give me a warm hug and the comfort under a warm blanket on my bed. I hope home is as special to you as it is to me!
