My Home

In my home I can see family and lots of love and happiness. I can feel my fluffy dog, my rough couch and my soft bed that feels like a soft marshmallow. I can feel love inside of my home, happiness like a bear when he gets lots and lots of honey. I can taste my mom’s fantastic tacos. I can smell smoke from the chimney, it does not smell good. I can hear some horns blaring as loud as lightning and motors rumbling so loud. People were getting furious at each other from Highway 97 down by my house. I can see my dog jumping on me and me laughing so hard I start to cry. It makes me grateful to be alive with her today and so fortunate to have a great dog that some people can’t have. When I see my dog, it makes me feel so happy. Sometimes my mom and I make cookies and they are really, really good. Sometimes they are even better than I thought was possible. I can also see the blinding lights from my fish tank. Reflecting on my story, it makes me so grateful to have a fantastic home. Even better to have a roof over my head that some people cannot have.
