My Home

If you ask anyone what home means, you will get a different answer from everyone. But in this story, I will tell you what home means to me. Home is a place where I can feel safe and loved, the cozy feeling of snuggling up on the couch with my mom and dad and watching a movie while the smell of popcorn floods the air. Home is a place where I know I am loved and that there is always someone I can turn to and share. I am so thankful to have a loving family that takes such good care of me, and a sister who is sometimes annoying but she loves me and I love her, she also makes me laugh a lot. Home is that one place where I love to get into bed and read my favourite book. Home is where I go to bed every night in my soft, cozy comfy bed. Every night my mum makes a delicious dinner that fills me up, gives me nutrients and makes my body healthy and happy. Sometimes my house gets a little crazy but there is no way I am the only one. But I always think about the people that are not as fortunate as me, who do not have a comfy bed and who do not have nice dinners every night. Who do not have a roof over their heads. That is why I am so so so grateful for all that I have. If you ask people what their dream home is they say something along the lines of, a big house with lots of money and things. But I would not want all of those things, like a house full of money. All I would want is my loving family.
