A home, more than words
A roof over your head, food, and drink, one may think,
but these are just words, written with ink
A home is so much more than these words,
a home is happiness, love, sometimes whole other worlds
A home is having a whole lot of fun,
like playing volleyball with my sister in the blazing hot sun
A home is where memories are made,
like gathering for an ice-cold lemonade
A home is the love and trust of a family,
I can confess anything to my mom, and play with my dad happily
A home is having loads of appreciation and support,
While my family watches me figure skate, I feel the warmth of my favorite sport
A home might not only be where you live, here,
I have a home all the way in the UK, everyone loving each other, so dear
A home is where you can just be yourself,
Laughing along with my family and friends, that is truly myself.
My home is kindness, my home is love,
I wish everyone could have a home, to be free like a dove
That’s why I have decided to write,
So, everybody could receive a home, to have a light
A house is a building you and your family share,
It's only a tool for a home, where everyone cares.
