The difference. There is a difference between a house and a home, a house is a type of building and a home is a place you live and feel safe and a place where you are alway are welcomed and loved. I hope you really understand my opinion. The meaning. The meaning of home for me, is a place where I can feel safe and live. Home is not necessarily in one place, home can be changed from house to house. I moved to Montreal this year. I know how it feels to switch the place where I call home. The feeling. The feeling of home is a nice, cozy environment, of which you feel safe and feel loved. Where you enjoy an ice cream party with family members, a place to watch movies with friends and where you lie down and go to sleep feeling safe.
