The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where I’m loved by everyone around. A safe place for me to be. A place where I am comfortable to do and say things. A safe place for me to be. Home is filled with things that mean a lot to me. My cats mean so much to me. Same with my family and my roof. The smell and the look let me know I’m here at home. Drawing, writing and science are my favourite things to do at home. The smells in the kitchen from my mom baking cookies, and the food that my dad makes tastes like no other. The smells in the dining room like cinnamon and apples. Outside in the backyard there’s a squirrel who hangs around my house thinking that it’s home. That means he’s very special to me and my family.
