The Meaning of Home

A home isn't a place. It's a feeling. It's somewhere you feel loved and safe. Well, that's some of it. Home can be anywhere. It can be in your heart or your mind. A house is like a place with a roof and rooms, but home is full with memories, love, and honesty. Every few days of the week, we play board games, so fun! Something I will always remember is the joy in the air and the smiles on everyone's faces. In my opinion, my family is the best thing in my life. Everyone deserves to have a home. Because home is my everything. It always gives me the shivers and breaks my heart hearing that people don't have homes. I think everyone deserves a home, because one day I hope that everyone could feel the love and joy around. I hope that everyone can hear laughter and see smiles. My favorites are when my family bakes cookies and I can smell the cookie dough and I would always taste the cookie dough and always feel grateful and thankful that I have a home. My home is my everything and it always will be. When my family is around, home is here. Some people haven't found their homes. It's just like a water bottle. The water bottle isn't opening because you're not strong enough. But in this situation, your home isn't opening because you haven't found your key to your home. For example, the key to my home is my family. That's why I have to thank Habitat for Humanity for helping people find a home.
