The Meaning of Home
Home is where I feel comfortable and happy! Home is where I can be me and feel accepted. Home is where I play; I play lego and video games. Home is where I eat pizza, chicken, and a lot of other things. My home is a shelter that keeps me and my family safe from rain and lightning. My home is not just my home; it is my family's home. In my home lives my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister and my dog. My family is nice, and they don’t judge me. My home makes me feel warm. My home is not just my home; there were people living there before me.
If home were the five senses, the smell would be the smell of fresh baked muffins. The taste would be warm, homemade pizza baked with love. The feeling would be a warm blanket on my back while I am watching a movie with my family. The sound would be the sound of my mom’s soft, sweet voice. The sight of my house would be a beautiful, medium house with red brick walls, and being built up with love and care as a family.
When I come back home, I feel excited, and I think everybody should have a home to go to. My home looks small on the outside but big on the inside. My house is near a river. A lot of big boats go by, and whenever I drive by the river I usually see a boat or two. At my house we have a pretty big lawn and my dog likes to run around. He loves it. At my house we go for a lot of walks and admire the view. At my house there is a road that is like a hill and I go skateboarding down the hill once in a while. Home is love. I think everybody should have a house.
