The Feeling of Home

Home is where you should feel comfort from your family, your dog or anyone you love for a very long time. When I come home from a hard day of school nothing is better than to see my family and give them big hugs that I’ll never get bored of. Home is where you should always have access to. Whenever my mom takes me to Red deer I always see homeless people on the streets. Seeing that just breaks my heart. I think everybody should have a safe and secure home to run to if they're scared. Even if you have some contention in your home you should still be very very grateful. Even the people who have no homes to live in. I believe that someday everybody will have a home with peace and happiness. When I drive around town I already see new homes getting built. It might take a little while but I think there will be a time that everyone will get a home to live in. And this is not just happening in Canada, it’s happening all around the world. Our family has moved several times across Alberta. The shape of the house always changes but you know what doesn’t change? The feeling of home never changes for our family. The love that I feel is too hard to explain but I sure love that feeling so much. It doesn’t matter how big or how small your house is. The only thing that matters to me is the bright feeling of home. You just have to have a little bit of love in your home to have a bright future. I can’t imagine how sad the homeless people feel without love or without an actual home to feel safe and comforted.
