What makes a house a Home
Home. A place I am always welcome. Where I cannot hold negativity and am always happy. A place I am loved and comfortable at every moment.
Home. A place I can be me. With nobody to judge or stare when I sneeze too loud or act too goofy. A place I can let out my feelings, where I can forgive and forget, and be happy again.
Home. A place I feel safe. Where I can fall asleep without any fear. Where I can dream endlessly with no worries about the rest of the world.
Home. A place I can cry freely. Where I can sink in my bed to have a breakdown. Where my pillow is always there to catch my tears. Where I can curl up under the covers until I get over my melancholy.
Home. Something you cannot buy. A place no mansion could ever compete with. No matter how big or small, a home is always full of love. I am grateful to have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in and food made for me to eat.
I pray that everyone has a home like mine. I thank Habitat for Humanity for making homes for people in need.
