My Home in my Mind
My home feels warm and cozy. I can lay on my couch and draw original characters and drink my warm, hot chocolate on a cold night in February. At my counter on a freezing morning me and my dad would play Uno while eating my delicious granola. In my kitchen I would turn on my Alexa and play relaxing music to calm myself down. When I'm by myself I would read or draw on my bed in my cozy bedroom. When I'm in my room I would lay on my beanbag and have a quick nap while dreaming about the fun I'll have in the future. When sleeping in my warm, cozy bed I would feel the comforting hug of my mother and father. At my front door I can hear the yells of me and my brother when my mother walks through the door. When in my backyard I can run far with my dog in front of me and I would think we are having a race. And when my brother is playing soccer with my dad and he gets a goal while he yells “YES!”. At my dining table I would have a nice fresh dinner with my family while telling stories about our day. At my dining table I can think of all the memories of my family having fun and laughing. Home is where I feel most comfort.
