What Home Means To Me
My home is more than a building made of wood and bricks.
My home is made of love and of my family, a wonderful mix.
Humble
Organized
Memorable
Easygoing
My neighborhood is more than a few houses, chicken coops, and fields.
My neighborhood made up of animals, a few kids, and my family.
My neighborhood is my home.
Harmonious
Organic
Mowing lawns
Eco-friendly
My home is like a flower which consists of many parts, but its true beauty only shines through when all of the pieces are together.
My home...feels like my soft bunnies fur.
My home...smells like fresh chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven.
My home...looks like a warm and cozy house.
My home...tastes like warm chocolate milk on a cold night.
My home...sounds like the sweet sounds of laughter and love.
My home is a place of hope. People come and go, but God is always present and so is the hope of Him coming again one day and taking us to our real and forever home in Heaven.
Heaven
Out of this world
Marvelous
Everlasting
Having someplace to go is home, having someone to love is family, having both, a blessing.
I thank Habitat for Humanity for making this possible for people who can’t afford a home!
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.
Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house and it fell-and it was a great fall.” (Matthew 7:24-27)
