My Home

My home is the place I love best Where I am comfy and come to rest Here is where I like to retreat Eat, play and sleep Making, baking tasty treats Bringing everyone together with a feast A place where flowers grow in summer And in the trees birds flutter Apple and peach trees grow in the back The squirrels come and love to snack And in the winter with mounds of snow My friends and I build sculptures of toads A place of safety and security Is where I reside with pride and dignity My home is the place I love best Where I live with my family and come to rest
