A Home for Everyone, One by One.

A home for everyone, one by one. A home for you and a home for me, we have the right to have a home in this country. A house is a shelter but it isn’t always safe. I can have a house but some people can’t. As long as someone gets help. I want a home for everyone, one by one. Everyone should have a home. Home is also a place for safety. Every single emotion is put into a home, happiness, companionship, friendship, love, frustration, and sadness. A home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling. You can have two houses but you can only have one home, one place where you feel safe, loved, or special. My home feels like I’m my own person and no one judges me, when I get scared my parents always make me feel better. When I’m home I see where I belong and that will never change for me, because at school I feel lonely but when I’m home I feel special. Home is not a taste, but if it were it would taste like buttery popcorn from a bowl when I watch a movie with my family. If home were a smell it would smell like smoke from birthday candles that my sister and I both like to smell. Everyone should have these feelings. I want a home for everyone, one by one. I can express one of my feelings about home in a haiku: My home is calming As a butterfly flying. That’s what home feels like. My home is in a safe neighbourhood, with a great community, and I have a big home to be grateful for. Everyone should have a home like my home. A home for everyone today, one by one.
