What Home Means to Me

What does home mean to you? For me, home is when I come home to the smell of delicious food my mom makes. Home is the smell of freshly baked cookies coming right out of the oven. When I come home from school, I can smell the air freshener in the air. I hear my brother talking to his friends, I also hear the sound of birds chirping outside. I usually hear my mom and brother talking. When I come home, I taste hot chocolate and marshmallows on a cold day. I taste hot cookies my mom and I made. I make spaghetti with my mom and then I eat it. I see my brother playing video games. I see my mom and brother talking about school. I feel my blanket on a cold day. When I’m at home I feel my utensils while I eat my tasty food. I feel my comfortable clothes on me. I hope home is special to you too!
