What Does Home Mean to Me?

My home is a very special place. This is what it means to me. I can see my awesome neighbour waving at me, my spacious backyard full of energetic birds, and I can see my busy parents cooking a delicious meal for my sister and I. I can feel my sharpened pencil when I am studying, my cozy bed when I am asleep, and I can feel my book when my nose is buried in it. I can smell the fresh air when I go outside, the sweet scent of white chocolate chip raisin cookies coming right out of the oven, and I can smell smoke coming from my neighbour’s barbeque grill. I can taste my yummy, spicy noodles, my cold water, and I can taste a healthy snack that I eat every day after school. I can hear noisy, disturbing airplanes flying over our home because we live close to the airport. I can also hear my parents either taking a tremendously long phone call or having a meeting that starts at 7:00 in the morning. My home is full of warmth, comfort, and security. I love my wonderful home. What about your home?
