What Home Means to Me

Home is a great place. My home isn't just a house. It is something much more special. A home is a place that you make memories in and it's a place that you grow your family in. I remember when my parents told me I was going to be a big sister. That's a memory that will stick to the home forever. Also, the first day we walked in, I ran into my room so happy. What a great memory. I remember walking in one day after school and realizing my little sister was finally home. Those are memories that make a house turn into a home. Home is a place that you feel safe in. You make memories with your friends and your family. Pictures with smiles of your friends and family - that's something only a home has. My home is special to me because me and my sister have an art wall where we hang our art from years ago. My home is special because we've spent Christmas there, Easter there, and our Birthdays there. Visit Habitat for Humanity if you want to turn a house into a home.
