What Home is to Me
My home looks like an old farm that makes me feel instantly better when I step inside from the long driveway.
My home sounds like the birds, singing a happy and peaceful tune, and the coyotes, calling to mates in the lovely moon light.
My home tastes like a warm hot chocolate, bathed in melting marshmallow goo on a cold winter day. Water instantly freezing, only cured by the warm spring sun.
My home feels like soft, fluffy barn cats coming out of their home to hunt, but easily tempted by my family to come over and eat the cat food left just for them.
My home smells like a fresh, tempting strawberry shortcake that tastes like a slice of angel fruit, topped with whipped cream and chocolate stream.
I believe that all people deserve a home, and hope that Habitat for Humanity can reach their goals.
