Home Is Safe

Home is not four walls holding up a roof. It’s where you have family, make memories and where you have a warm cozy bed. Home is like a big teddy bear hugging you with warmth and love. I love cuddling up with my cat after a long day of school in my room. I lay in my cozy bed as I pet, my purring, soft, cuddly, and kind cat. One of the best things about my home is that you can be mad, sad, happy and you can be yourself. I couldn’t imagine myself without a home during the cold, or hot, weather. Home is a loving family to comfort me. That’s why Habitat for Humanity is so good! They help families in need. It is not a hand down. It’s a hand up. I like making homemade pizza with my family. I love the smell of the bubbling cheese coming out of the oven. I love the gooey sauce on smoked ribs. I like making homemade bubble tea and eating buttery, salty, fresh popcorn on a late night with my family. I love playing with my family as I hear the laughter. I love playing with my sister in the backyard in the summer or the winter. I like watching movies, cuddling up with my cat, my sister, my mom, and my dad. I’m so grateful to have so many people that love me. My home is my happy place. My home is my sad place. My home is my angry place. My home is everything to me!
