What Is Home?
Home…only four walls and a roof. What is home? Home can be a place for everyone! It can be a place of cheerful joyfulness with friends and family. A house has no love, but a home is like a fountain of love with others! A house needs love, a house needs care and kindness. A home already has that stuff but not a house. A home has a family and is loved and cared for. The sound of a house is kids giggling and grandparents and parents laughing as they talk and drink coffee and tea! A houses sound is the quiet dripping of water as the trees rustle from the whooshing wind and the birds chirping to the sound of the pitter-patter of dogs and people walking by. The sight at home are children playing board games with family and dogs wrestling with the neighborhood cat! The sight of a house is a lonely porch and sad windows and shutters with unwatered trees swaying with the swirling wind. The smell and tastes of a home are crispy chicken with warm flowing gravy and buttery potatoes and a colorful vanilla cake sided with a delicious apple pie!
The smell of a house is fresh grass and bark on trees but there is really no taste of a house. The touch of a home are fluffy dogs and warm hugs from grandparents! The touch of a house is rough bark from a tree and leaves fall to the ground. Home can be anything!
