Return Home
Home. The everlasting feeling that lingers as it warms my heart. Like a blazing fire in the hearth, dancing its graceful waltz, as I gaze intently at its breathtaking performance. The flame brushes my face with its warmth, my smile reminiscent of fond memories. I imagine a loving embrace, the world blurred by my tear-filled eyes. A comforting silence follows, the tears seem to disappear as my arms hold tighter, refusing to let go. I close my eyes, the barrier of sadness and defeat I endure melt away. The quiet voice of the flame breathes, “Come. Sit beside me. Lay down onto me, your troubles that hold you. Let us share these chains so they may be lightened. I knock at your castle door, let your firm guard of it end. An even greater place is awaiting you outside of your fortress, ready to welcome and accept. Come, let friendship bloom and grow within you, find comfort in the solid and unmoving foundations of stone, rest in peace by the water. Come, be welcomed Home.”
Our land is vast and majestic, the mountains that govern the skies, lakes that reach to the ends of the earth, forests and nature, their beauty beyond speech, and the flame in our hearts. One that can never extinguish, perish or be forgotten. That flame, desire, creates our home, a home for others. A community with kindness, patience, love and acceptance, peace and gentleness. Sharing emotions of joy and comfort. A firm solid ground, unchangeable, and never failing. This is a place where we all belong. A place where you belong. Return to this. Return
