Meaning of Home

Home is an adjective. Now, you might be thinking, ¨ what do you mean, home is clearly a noun" , but just listen to me and think,What is the meaning of home. First, Culture is very important, and I think a lot of people forget the difference between culture and religion. In my family, there are many religions. On my dad’s side of the family they are Christians, but on my mom’s side they are nonreligious, but we all have the same culture. For example; Holidays, we all celebrate the same holidays. And if your parents don't have the same faith, you might celebrate a lot of different holidays. Religion is what you believe in, culture is where you come from and how you live. Culture is home. Next, love and protection are better than anything. If you have no love, you have no happiness. If there's no one to support you or help you, you won’t believe in yourself. Now imagine if you did not have love. How would you feel. I have heard people bully folks for having no love, and I think that is devastating. A lot of people don’t know how lucky they are to have love. I know that my friends and I have love, but a lot of people don’t. Love is home. Last but not least, family is the most important part of home. It is where love and culture come from. I remember when my niece Sophia was born, it became my life's mission to love and protect her. Now, tradition is a huge part of family. If you have special traditions, you are family. People think that family is people that are related to you, but they’re wrong. Family can be anyone, it could be friends, loved ones, or even people you work with. Family is home. Home is an adjective. It describes culture, love and family. If you still don't believe me, that's okay. This is a safe space. This is home.
