A Place I Call Home
Home is a place where I can be me,
a place where I have friends and family.
A place where I have a roof over my head,
a place with a comfiest of beds.
Home is the cozy place where I stay,
a place I miss when I go away.
If someone asks me what is home,
I’ll say it’s a place where I’ll never be alone.
It’s a place where I can follow my traditions,
a place that fills me with great ambitions.
School teaches me science, social studies, language and math,
home teaches me more than that.
Home teaches me love, kindness and affection,
home leads me in the right direction.
People might say home is made of bricks, wood and walls,
people might call it a place ever so tall.
But I know in my heart home is much more than that,
A place from where I go in the world to bat.
So that’s pretty much all I have to say,
I can describe home in no better way.
