My Heart My soul, My Home Sweet Home
A house is made up of bricks, concrete, walls and floors,
But my house is made up of a family I adore,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
A place where I was born,
where I can roam in my lovely little dome,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
A place where I feel the warmth of love,
Affection, honesty, care and hugs, where I feel I belong,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
What makes a house a home,
It’s the family, brothers, sisters and the cousins whom I love them all,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
We share, we care, make efforts to bring smiles to the faces we love,
Stand by each other when the times are tough,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
Although a house is concrete and a home is abstract,
Together we defeat the obstacles, to move ahead,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
Habitat for Humanity is doing a great job,
Serving the community by providing a space that is cozy and warm,
Building an affordable place that’s called a home,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
Thank you, God, for blessing me
With a wonderful family and a sweet home,
My heart, my soul, my home sweet home.
