Home Sweet Home
I make memories by having fun. Three of my favourite memories are when I made a half court swish in basketball, when I was a baby, also when I was with my cousin, Zeph. I got a half court swish in basketball when my cousin Owen was watching. This memory is special because it is a challenging shot! I was with my cousin Salem, and we made a big fort in my backyard together. That memory is important because it took us a very long time and it looks very awesome. When I was a baby, I got a very special stuffy from my aunt Barbi. The reason this is important is that that stuffy is very memorable. Those are all my memories.
The reason I feel like my house is a home is because my family lives in it. The three reasons are a big living room where we can relax together, eat together, and love. Love is the most important because it gives joy. Eating at our dining table every night is one of the reasons because it feels like we're all together. Another reason is when we have movie night in our living room. These memories are all very important.
How my family helps make a home is by the love it shows. Some of the reasons are the family pictures on the walls, the decorations from trips we have taken, and the bible verses in our house. The bible verses are important because in the Bible it says love is one of the most important things. The decorations from trips are nice because they remind us of the fun times, we had on trips together. Family pictures are important because they show how we have grown so much and changed.
This is how memories are made in my home. Some of the memories are when my family and I went to a cottage, the first time I tied my shoe, and the first day of school. When I went to a cottage with my family, we went swimming in forty foot deep water. That is important because it was fun! It doesn't matter where you are as long as your family is with you, you are home. The reason is important is because it is very meaningful. The first time I tied my shoe is a good memory. This memory is important because it gives me joy. The day I started J.K. is special because it was my first year at school. My mom took a picture of me holding a sign saying, Sawyers first day of J.K. The cottage, the first time I tied my shoe, and the first day of school are all very special memories.
A home is a structure that keeps us safe and warm. But it is also a place full of love and encouragement that everyone deserves.
