A Home of a Fox
Home can be a place inside, outside , it can be anywhere.A home sometimes is hard to find.If you had to move from your home it can be hard to find a new one. A home doesn’t have to be a house, in can be a place where you feel safe and loved or where your family is. People are finding ways to help homeless people. But for me it is a lot different.
You won’t see my kind often. With my beautiful red to orange fur and my white tipped tail you’d think it would be easy to find me. But I am the best hider in the forest. I am a fox. And I will tell you about the meaning of home.
It is hard to explain the meaning of home because it is different for everyone.
So I am going to tell you what home means to me so I can help you find what home means to you.
To start I will tell you how I found my home. When I was a cub my home was in my den. But when humans came to cut down the forest we lost our home.
So we left with the other animals to find a new place to call home. We walked for three days before we found our new home.
Right when we left our forest there was a pup only six months old.
And when we got to our new forest the pup didn’t seem like she felt at home.
Even when the mother had fresh milk she still did not feel at home. I walked to the pup and sat down beside her.
Then I asked the pup if she felt like she was home and she didn’t say anything.
I told her to tell me what she felt like at home with her five senses.
She told me what she could see, hear, feel, taste and smell.
Then I asked her to tell me what she felt at this forest.
After that she felt more like she was home.
Then I told her when she felt like she was not at home you can match the five senses of what you feel like at home and what you feel like where you are.
And that is how I found my home and helped someone else find their home.
