The Meaning of Home to Me

Hi! I’m Chloe Dueck. I’m ten years old. I was born on April 13, 2012. I have 3 siblings and two cats. Home means a lot to me. Without my family I’d be nothing. At home my room is on the top floor. I share it with my 13 year old sister. We get the biggest bedroom in the house. I have bright, pretty fairy lights in my room. My bed is so cozy. I like my room but I don’t spend much time up there. I love my home. It's awesome. But what does it mean to me? My house feels cozy and warm, it sounds loud and noisy (That’s the part I don’t like), it smells like yummy food my moms cooking, my moms food tastes the best and my house looks small (I don’t care that much about that part). If I would go to someone's house it wouldn’t feel like home, it wouldn’t sound like home, it wouldn’t look like home, it wouldn’t smell like home and it wouldn’t taste like home, because I’m so used to home. If we moved it would be hard to get used to it because I’ve lived in this house all of my life. So that’s “The Meaning of Home to Me’’
