My Home

I grew up in Bolivia in a house that had holes, and snakes could come in. We had a small yard and hardly any toys. I lived in many houses and none of them were safe to live in. Sometimes we had only a few dollars and we could barely buy food. When we finally got to go to Canada, my dad wasn’t at the airport until a few hours before we flew away. When we finally arrived in Canada we lived by my cousin's house until we got our own house. Then Morweena School asked us if we wanted to go there to school so we did go there and it is very fun. I also like sports more than when I first came to Canada. I like it a lot more here than in Bolivia because it is very hot in Bolivia. And here our house is safe and it is much more fun here since we have more toys and more money. I’m really glad that we could come to Canada. I learned English by going to school. And school has been a lot of fun.
