My Home
Home to me is being somewhere with my mom, my dad and my younger brother. Home can be at the campground, a hotel, the beach, a park, a cabin and more amazing places as long as I'm with my family.
I have always thought that home was the house you lived in, but the truth is that home is everywhere as long as I'm with my family.
My home is going for a walk in the park with my dog while my little brother plays and my parents sit on a bench feeding the ducks.
My home is going camping and having a bonfire that makes me feel all warm inside, and singing songs with my family.
My home is laying in bed before I go to sleep and my mom reads me a book while I snuggle with a few of my sloth teddys out of the 62 I have now.
My home is going to my Nana and Poppy’s pool on warm summer Sunday afternoon and barbecuing hamburgers and hot dogs while I swim with my mom, dad and brother.
A home is a special place where you are safe, secure and don't have to worry about the world on the outside, you have people to take care of you and someone to have your back for your whole life no matter what.
Everyone has a different home, some are outside, some are inside, and some are far away. My home is with all the people I love the most.
Being at home is more than being inside a house. It is about making memories and having fun with the people you love. No matter when or where you are.
