What Home Means to Me
Home is where I feel safe and it gives me a sense of comfort. It’s a place where you feel warm when it’s cold outside. It’s true what they say, home is where the heart is, with your family and loved ones. When I’m around my family, I am at home. After a long day it’s where you come to relax. You can always depend on the roof above your head no matter the time, good or bad. My house provides me with a sense of gratitude, reminds me how lucky I am to have a place to call home, a place where I can be myself. A home is a place where you can feel all emotions, happy, sad, silly; you’re able to feel secure. It doesn’t matter if you have a big house or a small house, it doesn't matter if you have a soft bed or a bumpy bed, it's all about the feeling your home gives you. A home brings people together, opening your door to others builds connections within your community. No home is alike, because each home has something the other doesn’t. Each home holds memories, first birthdays, night time cuddles, or the pencil markings on the door frame, showing your growth. Your house reflects on who you are. Your home is you.
