What is a Home?

What is a Home? The meaning of home is a palace where you can rest and feel safe.Like when you're in a long car ride and you think “ man i can't wait to get home”. And when you get home you feel like it's home. It's kinda hard to explain the feeling.a home is somewhere you can just feel safe in. it has the feeling of warmth. You feel secure in a home. It can be your happy place. Somewhere you can just sit or sleep and feel safe. You can make your home look anyway you like. It's not like a house. A house is a more newer feeling place that does not feel like a home yet. A home is cozy. A home can be small,big,medium. My home is made out of red,rough bricks. It has a black flat roof that catches lots of water when it rains. It has wood as support,covered in drywall. My mum painted my living room a forest green shade. My bedroom is a baby blue color with white spots on the ceiling to make it look like clouds. My little sister's room is a baby pink color, so she can have a magical forest in her room. My older sister's room is a dark gray shade and has hints of black on a couple of the walls. My mum and dads room is painted indigo and baby blue. Both of the bathrooms are just plain white. The basement is not covered in drywall. My mum and dad put wood baseboards in the play area of the basement so we wouldn't have to look at the wood. My house has a withered vine leading up to my mum and dads room window on the outside. My patio has 5 bright green bushes all alongside each other on one end of my patio. I have a bright lime green painted couch on the other side of my patio. I live in a long town house building.that is my home. I moved there when I was 4 and I have lived here for 8 years now. It's an old building, the roof in the hallway is leaking. But it's still home. It's my happy place. A place I feel safe in. a home you stay in for a long time.for me that is the meaning of home.
