House vs Home

A house is a structure with a roof on top and is called a shelter. It contains furniture such as a couch, fireplace (sometimes), table, and many more things. A house can protect you from cold weather, hot weather, bad weather, all sorts of different kinds of weather. In a home there is Love, kindness, generosity, safety, and other sorts of things. Home is where you can feel safe, protected, loved and comfortable. A home is where you live happily with your family and friends. Home is where you can express your feelings and is where you have your own privacy. Home is where you live, eat, play and cook. When you look outside you see your own garden or your yard. A home can be used to sleep in your warm cozy bed, play games with your family or friends, invite friends to hang out, sometimes play video games in your room. A home can protect you from harm or danger. Everyone deserves a home where they can call it “This is my Home”. I hope habitat for humanity raises enough money to give as many people as possible a home.
