What Home Means to Me
Home. Where I can read my favorite book after school and play the clarinet in peace and quiet, I find it nice and relaxing. The bedroom where me and my dad set up the fairy lights around my desk while jamming out to Taylor Swift’s song Love
Story and after doing face masks with my two annoying brothers. Trying to fall asleep when my dog, Snip comes with his toy and jumps on my bed with white, comfy blankets. I will soon fall asleep clutching my stuffed animal in my hands.
Home. Where me and my family can get cozy and warm while eating peach crisp, in front of the fireplace and watching tv. Me and my mom make the peach crisp with a lot of sugar and extra love. I love the memories me and my family make, like when we have competitions to see who can go the farthest when we are sledding and when we play hide and seek on our farm.
Home. Where I ride my bus and see all the farmland and cows around me. Driving into town to watch the fireworks at the baseball diamonds on new years eve with my friends. Walking with my best friend to her grandma's house and then going trick or treating with her in Carstairs, it was so much fun.
Home. Where me and my family drive through Kananaskis and look at all the snow on the ground. We drive through Kananaskis to get to Nakiska where we go skiing. Me and my family also go hiking quite often in the mountains. In the summer we go to Cranbrooke and my brothers and I like to build sandcastles by the lake. This is what my home means to me.
