What Home Means to Me
What do you think home means to me? I will be talking about how to make memories at home, how family makes a home, and the difference between a house and a home. Home isn’t home without memories. Memories make a home, well home. Home is a part of my family; family makes home and home makes family. Those are three things I’m going to talk about in another paragraph in this essay.
Family means a lot to me because without family home isn't home. Family makes a home because family comforts you, they help you, they love you. Family comforts me because they know how I feel and they make me feel better. Family helps me because if I'm feeling down they can help me out. Family helps me with love. They love you so much, they trust that you will love them back. That is why home needs family.
This is the difference between building a house and a home. The difference is the materials, foundation, and the supports. The materials of a house are metal, wood, and bricks. The materials of a home are love, family and memories. The foundation of a house is made of concrete and steel. The foundation of a home consists of love and care. A house is supported by steel but the support of a home is family. Those are the differences between a house and a home.
I think the best place to make memories is home. My favourite memories are building a train track using all of the pieces, my seventh birthday, and making a birthday cake for Jesus at Christmastime. Once, I built a train track using all of the pieces and it covered the entire floor. It is an important memory for me because it was super fun. One year for Christmas, we made a birthday cake for Jesus. It was fantastic! I really like my seventh birthday because I had a party. I introduced my cousins on my dad's side to the ones on my mom's side. Those are my favourite memories of my home.
Now you know what home means to me. You could also write what home means to you and your family. I think that when I have grown up and moved to a house of my own, it will still be wonderful to return to my childhood home.
