My Meaning of Home
Home. The place where I feel safe and joyous.
The place where I’m full of laughter and joy.
Home keeps me warm during a winter snow storm. Which is amazing since we’re in Canada. Home is peaceful. My comfort place. Especially my room! In my home, I can see my family, smell the scent of burning candles. I can hear all the laughter, taste the delicious brownies, and touch the warm fuzzy blankets in our living room. My home has been MY home for 11 years, but who’s counting?
A house is physical, a home is internal, and always will be. That’s what home means to me.
