If Home Were The 7 Colors

Red: If home were red, it would be like warm love on a chilly winter day. Red would be the color of my home after we moved in. Red would be the color of my safe room on a scary thundering night. Orange: If home were orange, it would be like the color of flames in a chimney on a cold windy day. Orange reminds me of the orange juice my mom makes on a scorching summer day. Yellow: If home were yellow, it would be like the color of happiness we had when my sister started talking. Yellow reminds me of the lights that shine in the night. Green: If home were green, it would be like the fresh grass in my backyard. Green is the color of the vegetables that feed us when were hungry. Green reminds me of the toys I have that some kids don’t have. Blue: If home were blue, it would be like fresh running water in a working sink. Blue reminds me of the sky we see in our sunroof, when we're bored. Purple: If home was purple, it would be like sweet smelling lavender in our flower bed. Purple reminds me of my mom because she always wears a beautiful purple shirt. Pink: If home were pink, it would be like pink roses in our backyard on a warm spring day. I would like to thank Habitat of Humanity for letting me help people who don’t have a home, let’s continue to make the world a better place.
