What does home mean to me?

Home is a place where you are safe and don't have to worry about being in the cold. Home is a place where you can’t be harmed and scared. Home is a place where you can be safe from the outdoors and people. You have a home to be safe in so don’t be scared inside your home. Houses have a security alarm from people breaking into your house. The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave and even better to come back. For me, home feels like a cozy blanket that just came out of the dryer machine and fluffy pillows on a cozy couch. Home feels like the perfect amount of light and the perfect amount of dark like you sitting next to a lamp on a dark night. Home feels like you are coming in from the coldest day into a warm home with hot chocolate and a fuzzy blanket. Home feels like you are walking into a cozy cottage. Home feels like that hot summer day and you jump into the cold water in the pool. Home smells like a restaurant. Home smells like that buttery air from popcorn and chocolatey smell from hot chocolate. Home Smells like you in an afternoon smelling that steak on the grill outside. Home smells like bacon cooking on the pan on the perfect morning. Home smells like fresh morning air going right through the window. Home sounds like birds chirping on a sunny morning. Home sounds like eggs scrambling on the pan. Home sounds like me walking on the rolling rocks in my backyard. Home sounds like the birds flapping their wings in the water. Home sounds like the sizzling sound from my dad making hamburgers outside. Home sounds quiet inside, not outside. Home tastes like fresh cookies that just came out of the oven and chocolate melting down the cookie. Home tastes like hot chocolate with melting marshmallows and that chocolate taste. Home tastes like my dad's hamburgers in my mouth. Home tastes like your favorite food and drink you get from your favorite restaurant. Home tastes like your favorite candy. Home looks like heaven in the fluffy clouds. Home looks like a comfy bed and a fun snowy day. Home looks like a protective place to go because it is made of bricks and siding. Home looks like a safe place to go when you are hurt and need help. Home looks like a place to stay warm and have fun. Home looks like a sunny backyard in summer. Home looks like a place to go inside on a hot summer day. Home looks like the perfect place to go to that's why home looks like a safe place to go to. That's my five senses at home and what it's like for me. Now you know that home is not a place, it is a feeling. Those are my five senses of home. I hope you liked it and it makes you feel like your home is a special feeling, like mine is to me.
