Habitat for Humanity
I sought and found shelter in my house. It is not a grand mansion but I call home. When I had a long day at school I come home to see warm smiling faces as my dog spins in circles happy to see me. I can smell something good in the oven. My mom gives me a hug and asks me about my day. Later my dad comes home and we play a game.
A house is built out of stone, wood, metal but a home is made up of love, kindness, laughter and happiness.
I lived all over the country and have learned that wherever I go my home is my family. I feel bad for all the people who don't have a home because everyone deserves a home.
