The Meaning of Home to Me
Home is where you started; home is where you grew up. I walk into my home the sound of a family movie blaring.
A house is where you sleep; a house is where you live now; a home is where you lived before.
I hear the Whirr of the projector; the crackle of the Nintendo playing Kirby.
I hear the announcers talking about football.
I feel the safety of my room; the warmth of my bed.
I hear the sound of my dog barking at the delivery man; the sound of the car rolling down the street.
A safe home is important because, if you don’t have one, you could get sick and die.
My home is important to me because I have a big house to share with my friends and family; I can have a small house and I will be happy.
