The 5 Senses at Home

The taste of my mom’s making our Nigeran food with a touch of spice. Near me, my dad munching the food in his mouth so loud I can probably hear him upstairs. My mom chopped fish up with a cut on her finger. My brother and sister ran as fast as they could to get the fish and rice. I see my brother playing video games 24/7 while eating a snack with crumbs all over the keyboard. My cousin was playing Sonic at the same time yelling at the device. The food on the stove looks like it just came from a restaurant. I smell the cooking from my aunt and mom making sauce and red rice. The smell of popcorn popping in the microwave. The smell of fresh fruit from my dad's work. The smell of the bathtub filling up with soap smells like my cousin after he takes a bath. I hear my sister bursting out laughing, I hear the joy of my family when they're laughing. As well as my brother but he just watches tv. I hear my dad yelling so loud with his friend on the phone. I can feel the love, kindness, happiness joy and comfort in my family. The feeling of my bed when I just got back from school feels like someone is hugging me. The feeling when I get back home feels like someone just gave me a big hug. The photos of our family look like a beautiful sunset at 6:00 and the tree we have in our living room feels like it's Christmas again sometimes. I love my home, It’s like no one else’s HOME. That’s what makes it so special and unique.
