House vs. Home

If you had the option to choose between a house and a home, which one would you choose? Many people don't understand the difference between the two, so maybe this will help: Home is love and warmth, a house is a safe roof and walls. Home is safe but more importantly, comfortable. A house can be safe but since it's not home, it's not as comfortable. A house can be bought, but a home can not. In my opinion, a home is better than a house. Home is family, care, love and loyalty. My favourite thing about my home is my family! Each home is unique and phenomenal in its own way, but each house is built the same way. Each house has walls, a roof, couches, and a comfortable bed. A house can be a home if there is family, comfort, and the things you love all around you. Every year many people struggle to find a place they can call home. Habitat for Humanity is a very generous charity that might save your life one day. With help from donators from all over Canada, Habitat for Humanity has provided over 3800 safe homes to families in need. Money can't buy a home, but it can help families find one.
